CULINARY CHALLENGE 2017

New Delhi: Association of Hospitality Professionals (AHP) and Prosprus Pte. Ltd. along with Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) organized a Culinary Skill Challenge for aspiring chefs from all over the India. This event held at Indian Hotel Academy and over 35 hotel management students participated in this event.The motive of the event was to popularize the Skill India Campaign vision of our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.Culinary Challenge 2017 event at Indian Hotel Academy best hotel management institute in delhi
Through this event our hospitality students got chance to show their culinary skills by preparing multiple cuisines from around the

world.The jury for the competition included top of the culinary fraternity, thus creating a talent hunt opportunity for our aspiring chefs who are trainees under ‘Multi-cuisine Cooks’ under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.

Chef Vivek Saggar, Head-Business Development Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council, said, “The objective of the challenge is to act as a link, a platform and an instrument for the enhancement and overall development of the national community of chefs. With this Challenge, we hope to participate in the Government’s Skill India Mission by providing right platform to the trainees from ‘Multi-Cuisine Cook’ under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana to meet and network and learn about the industry from the Master Chefs of the industry. I am sure it was a valuable experience for the entire chef and will surely maximize their potential and growth in the sector”

Our objective is to bring our fraternity closer and to offer the trainees a professional platform to showcase, exhibit and hone culinary skills, thereby creating employment opportunity.”
