The course is all about the preparation of food in different ways, styles, quantities, as well as cuisines. This can be local as well as international food along with scientific and latest production techniques too. There are different tools that are also taught to use so that food can be prepared skillfully. The students are trained in the critical areas of culinary arts and include the food skills, food quality, food ingredients, Hygiene, food tools and tips, soft skills, entrepreneur skills and many other skills.
The courses in Food production aim at enhancing the skill set of students in a very short duration. It includes theory and practical components covering food preparation, Cooking Principles and Practices, Food Safety and Hygiene. In six months the students are trained theoretically in the areas of food production and the last six months will be utilized as Industrial Training where the students will get an opportunity to work in real time environment in the Industry which will enhance the practical skills of the students.
