More and More young students love to explore a most creative career option out of their hobby. More and more people now want to learn professional cooking and wish to become great chef. They love being creative and wish to showcase their culinary talent. They need to learn proper skill and guidance for that.
If you also have the creative mind and have the flair for cooking, IHA has specially designed courses right from one year basic course to a professional degree course in culinary arts.
IHA has a well equipped state of art kitchen and a team of experienced chefs to guide and mentor budding chefs. The students learn hands-on skills as well as the food knowledge during the course. They also learn, Food Hygiene, Nutrition and Communication skills. Three year cookery and bakery courses also includes the modern trends in culinary arts. Students also have an Industrial Exposure training as apart of the course. During the Industrial Training students work in the real environment and prepare the food for guests.
IHA offers a complete placement support on completion for all the cookery course. The Institute organize a job placement drive for each batch during the final semester. Leading Hotels and restaurants participate in the campus drive and select the students from campus only. So most of the students get job before completion of the course.
All the new age Culinary courses at IHA are government recognized. Short term courses are under tourism and hospitality skill council and also approved by NSDC. On the other hand, long term Courses are under Jagannath University.
